- Previously served 4 years as Chairman of Durham’s City Council’s Legislative Committee
- Former Chairman of the Durham Joint City-County Planning Committee
- Served 8 years as a Member of City Council’s Legislative Committee and 4 years as Chairman, where he worked with members of our General Assembly Delegation in promoting Durham’s Legislative Agenda.
